Know where every kilogram came from, and where it went.
Register harvests and receipts in the units your people use. Splits, merges and processing keep the link to every input, so any lot can be followed back to its farms and forward to everyone who holds part of it.

The problem
When a buyer, an auditor or a recall asks where a lot came from, the answer is often spread across spreadsheets, delivery notes and e-mails.
Units that do not add up
Bags, tonnes and bushels are converted by hand, and a rounding nobody wrote down is hard to find later.
Links lost at processing
Once a lot is dried, hulled or milled, the new lot rarely says which lots went into it.
History that gets overwritten
A corrected date or quantity replaces the old one, and nobody can say what the record said before.
What it does
Every lot is one record with its product, quantity, lot code, dates and origin, and every change to it is a proposal a person approves.
Register harvests and receipts
Product, quantity, your own lot code, harvest and expiry dates and an origin reference of the farm or plot. A crop sold before harvest can wait as Not yet harvested.
Units your people know
Type tonnes, pounds, bags or bushels: the lot is recorded in the product's base unit, and nothing is rounded without saying so.
Split, merge and process
Drying, hulling, roasting, milling, crushing or slaughter make new lots that keep their inputs. The form warns when the output looks too high or too low.
Lineage across companies
Follow a lot back to its farms and forward to every holder. A lot from another company shows Comes from, and a recall uses the same lineage.
Corrections that keep history
Holds, releases and corrections are approved proposals. The corrected version replaces the current one, and the earlier version stays on record.

How it works
Four steps, each one approved by a person, each one in the lot's Story.
Register the harvest
An operator enters 8 bags of 60 kg; the lot is recorded as 480 kg.
A person approves
The proposal reads as one sentence, and a member who may approve confirms it with a second factor.
Process and keep the inputs
Drying and hulling turn two lots into one green lot that names both as its inputs.
Follow the lineage
From the green lot back to its farms, and forward to every company that holds part of it.
Who uses it
Partners such as a producer, a lab or a warehouse of another company can be invited as guests and see only the lots that concern them.
Operator
Prepares registrations, deliveries and processing.
Approver
Reads and approves with a second factor; never creates.
Owner
Decides who may approve, and may let low-risk actions approve themselves.
Auditor
Reads lots, their Story, reports and the audit log.
